MEDAL Sterilization Pouches – self-adhesive, paper and foil, are medical disposable packaging designed for steam sterilization in an autoclave. They are manufactured in accordance with the current standards PN-EN 868-3 and 5 and PN-EN ISO 11607-1 and 2. They are made from the highest quality medical paper and foil that resist any damage. Each pouch has a special seal that prevents the foil from tearing during the packaging of the instruments. Additionally, all packages are equipped with external and internal sterilization process indicators that inform about the progress of the process by changing the indicator color from pink to black.

Instructions for use: Place the previously disinfected and dry instruments you want to sterilize into the pouch (it is recommended to place one instrument in each pouch). Immediately before sealing the package, remove the strip covering the adhesive layer. Then fold the pre-folded edge of the paper and press it firmly. It is important to fill the package with instruments up to about 75% to prevent damage to the packaging during sterilization. (If more than one item is placed in the package, it is important that they do not come into direct contact with each other, as the sterilization process may then not work properly).
