Self-leveling Modeling Gel

Summer Italy Modeling Gel has a medium, self-leveling consistency that is soft and easy to work with.

The gel spreads evenly over the nail plate, does not easily run towards the cuticles, and allows controlled building of a beautiful and balanced nail structure.

Thanks to the self-leveling properties, a smooth and even surface is created during modeling. This makes the gel also excellent for the no-file technique, where final filing can be kept to a minimum.

At the right layer thickness, Summer Italy Modeling Gel provides the necessary strength, stability, and support of the nail architecture.

In a thin layer, the product retains enough flexibility, making it also pleasant to use for corrections, overlays, and refills.

Instructions for use – Strengthening & Refill

1. Carefully disinfect the hands of both the nail technician and the client.

2. For a refill, remove about 90% of the old product with a professional file or suitable carbide bit. If possible, leave a thin, well-adhering layer of product and avoid damaging the natural nail.

3. Gently matt the natural nail with a 240 grit file.

4. Prepare the nail plate with Nail Prep.

5. Apply a thin layer of suitable Base Gel and cure it completely. Summer Italy Modeling Gel requires a suitable base layer for optimal adhesion.

6. Take a small amount of Summer Italy Modeling Gel and place it approximately in the center of the nail.

7. Distribute the product with a flat or oval gel brush using light and controlled movements. Work first towards the cuticle and then spread the gel towards the free edge.

8. Shape the desired apex and nail architecture. Thanks to the self-leveling texture, a smooth and balanced structure can be created with minimal filing.

9. Cure the gel completely in the lamp.

10. Pinch at the right moment if desired to create a nicer C-curve and slimmer nail architecture.

11. Correct the shape if necessary with a file and perform an under-refill correction if needed.

12. Finish the nails with a suitable glossy or matte top coat.

Application with Dual Forms

1. Disinfect the hands and carefully prepare the natural nail.

2. Gently matt the natural nail plate with a 240 grit file and apply Nail Prep.

3. Apply an appropriate Base Gel and cure it completely.

4. Choose a suitable Dual Form / Superior Form for each nail.

5. Apply the right amount of Summer Italy Modeling Gel into the Dual Form and distribute the product evenly. Build a thin but strong nail structure.

6. Place the Dual Form carefully from the cuticle area onto the natural nail and move towards the free edge. Do not apply too much pressure to avoid pushing excess product out.

7. Briefly fix the Dual Form with a portable LED/UV lamp.

8. Check the underside of the free edge and correct any excess product if needed.

9. Allow the construction to fully cure.

10. Carefully remove the Dual Form and correct length, side lines, and free edge if necessary.

11. Finish the nail with a suitable glossy or matte top coat.

Curing

Full curing in LED lamp: 120–160 seconds

Pinching / C-curve: after approximately 15–20 seconds

Fixing Dual Form / Superior Form: approximately 3–4 seconds, depending on the technique and lamp used.

The heat generated during curing may vary depending on the condition and sensitivity of the natural nail and the amount/thickness of the applied product.

Removal

Summer Italy Modeling Gel is a professional construction product and is removed with a professional drill or file.
